Teleport Anywhere - one hour cooldown (NOT Hearthstone)

Warning: This only works for summoning characters UNDER 60

Greetings, this clever use of mechanics allows you to teleport to any uninstanced zone in the game once every hour without changing your hearthstone, using Ruby Slippers or the use of mages and warlock's soulstones. This is a simple common sense method but it can be used to great effect, I hope this helps you guys!

What you need:

* Access to the Recruit a Friend promotion and making a trail account with the key you will get when you register your email address. (Another RaF thread I know, but bare with me, this involves no leveling)
* The ability to run two copies of World of Warcraft when you want to teleport (you can disable all UIs and tone all graphics to minimal on the teleporter character, it will not effect your real characters at all!)

Okay the way this teleporter works is that "recruited friends" are able to summon the "recruiter" at anyplace, anytime but you can only summon from your current characters position; now the trick is to move these teleport waypoint characters without a 100 mile deathrun; this is done simply by the following:

* Log your main on the account you recruited on.
* Move to the location you want to create a teleport waygate at (mine are currently set to Dire Maul Arena for Orb of Deception farming, Black Temple and Shattrath for example)
* Tab out and load up WoW again, logging into your new trail account.
* Create a character to act as the teleport waypoint.
* Enter world, skip the entrance cinematic.
* Tab back into your main, invite the new char to the group.
* Tab into the new char and accept the group invite.
* Tab into your main and add the new character to your friendlist.
* Click the summon tab to the left of your "friend's" name.
* Accept summon on your new character.

There you go, you now have a character that you can log in at any time for the next 10 days and instantly summon your main to the area of your choosing, if you set all your graphics down to minimum and disable all UIs on the teleporting characters, you should be able to do this without even causing lagg for your main and get him summoned within about 30 seconds.

Think this is a repost (would guess one of the RAF posts would be about this) and everyone who knows about RAF those this. I'm ofc talking about recruit a friend not the russion air force.

But you should really CAPS out that you MUST under any circumstances skip the opening cinematics=)

Well its not really complicated, I just expressed all the steps one by one so that nobody would have trouble using it; its not a one off teleport, it can be used as many times as you like which means this can be used to great effect if for example you like farming some certain areas yet transport can be a problem, sticking a few alts for instant summons makes you not have to travel at all, espically if you like camping stuff such as the dire maul rare spawns.

I wasn't aware that this was a repost, i've looked threw the first four pages and I havn't found anything about teleporting but i'll have a look again and delete this post if I find something.

Edit: Found a mention of the ability to summon through the RaF guide post but I couldn't find anything anywhere that indicated a tactic for putting teleporting to good use, http://www.mmowned.com/forums/wow-ex...f-threads.html do you have a link to where this was posted ?

Thanks for the queiry, I made some screenshots of this by summoning a mid level character (55) to shattrath, this worked and therefore I assumed it would work with all levels and therefore planted a teleporting char in both Dire Maul and Black Temple to help with my travels however when I came to test the latter I noticed that high levels can summon low levels but low levels cannot summon high levels! and therefore this method can only be used for those under 60, I apologise for any confusion or inconvience this post as caused and I will edit the main post to make it clear this only works for summoning low levels.

RAF is actually Royal Air Force, which is in Britain.

lol guys, it's not that complicated.... basically you can have up to 4 places to teleport.... you just need a RAF trial account with a char in each place that you want to teleport to, it's that simple
