"Arathi Basin, was once a region of fertile soil and ore-rich mines. The land was once shared fairly between the Horde and Alliance, who had a sort of unspoken truce, and allowed one another to share the land freely. Lumber, ore, farmland, Arathi provided it all and its resources were plentiful.

However, the citizens of Lordaeron were overcome by greed, and the land that was once shared became contested. Either faction battled with each other for ownership of the land, and war broke loose resulting in many vicious battles until only one remained victorious. Yet the lnd began to change, as the bloodspill continued, the soil became stained and the foliage tainted. The mine, once rich in ore erupted in strange crystal growth. The result was an entirely tainted region, no longer usable for resources, but the hatred and war still persisted between the natural enemies."



So this is the sort of setting I've played with in my edit of Arathi Basin. I realize timing is a little inconvenient what with the release of the model edit winner, Crystal Basin, but I figured I would release my idea to get an idea whether I should pursure this or not.

I'm not sure which route this should take, I'm trying to cut down on tall, wide objects to provide space to PvP, but it really takes away from the overall look I'm aiming for with this. Also thinking of scrapping the entire project and starting something new elsewhere.

I cannot for the life of me figure out which skybox ID is Arathi Basin.
If anyone can help me with this I'd be so grateful, Glitchy's isn't providing me enough information to change it up.

Just from the screenshots, it looks like a few of the crystals have some odd placement (Last screenshot, bottom right corner), but other then that..

Haha, glad to hear others aren't on hard on it as I am.
I'm still not sure if I should go ahead and fill the place up as I'l like, or if people would use this map for actual PvP.

But I'll keep working on what I've got! I have many more ideas to tire in.
