OK, i restate that first statement, you get perma ban if you get caught using hacks... That's why they don't need any anti-cheat in the first place, you just mentioned
that you get banned when your spotted, isn't that some kinda anti-cheat itself?
People report hackers to CSR's in-game, isn't that some form of anti-cheat already?

I am surprised pb isnt enabled. But im curious, what happens if it is? Does it detect you are trying to edit a memory address or injecting improper dll's then it denies it? Automatically Bans? Anyone know?

If PB is enabled then this hack will definitely not work. It would take something like a D3D hack. In games like BF2 or CoD4, hacks work for like a month only before PB gets ahold of it and starts mass banning ppl (via GUID or hardware ID or soemthing like that).

Then a new version of the hack will come out again and everything will be fine. Then PB will start the mass banning again and a new hack version will come out etc. etc.

These are "private" hacks that are sold. I hope PB never gets enabled in WAR.

Now That you mentioned about private hacks. Believe me or not private hacks in mmorpg's are just the same as public releases like Warextdll, S4LLy's and to mention a few. They just say it's PB secured but there's actually no PB in the first place! They just put it there to justify their fake claims just so they can charge you money.

In FPS it's different, private hack coders actually work for punk buster!
They know when PB will update so they can update their private hacks.

Tell me about it.

I paid 50 euros / $70 for WARBuddy and I've never used it since I found out about this site (particularly HackPack and Zeabot).

"why isn't PunkBuster enabled?" because mythic is waiting for the day that everyone uses hacks so they can ban everyone on every server and make it look like they have a good reason to shut all the servers off line forever and try to save face for making poor decisions on where to take the game.

If they permanently ban him, they'd be out of a subscriber... which is the last thing they want.
