How do I make "incompatible" mods work?

How do I make "incompatible" mods work? I am trying DiscordActionBars out, and WoW says they are incompatible

is that with 'load out ofdate addons' too?

Sadly Nein that doesn't work. Ive read(although never done) that inside the .lua of the addon it shows the version number of wow. If That number is too low it will say incompatible because of changes Blizz makes to how addons can be coded. To make a quick change to get past the incompatible look through the lua and see if there is any sort of version number like 6***. I dont know the current build number but just look for the 4 digit code.

changing the .lua will work but theres a reason it would say "incompatible" and not "out of date". Most likely the addon won't work anyway. All you can really do is find updates.
