Hello,
I used the searchfunction and found nothing similar.
There are a lot of alerter-addons, which i.e. write a big INNERVATE on your screen every time an enemy player casts it.
These addons are particularly useful if you play arena seriously.
If your like me and your having trouble timing your spells perfectly, realising what your enemy is doing,
don't know exactly when you should use your defensive cooldowns or when to LOS then this Soundpack can help.
I've known and used this technique for a very long time. It's really nothing new but I think it's pretty handy.
Especially as a healer I don't have my eyes on the spot where the annoucement will appear all the time.
The basic idea is that you combine a soundfile with that big INNERVATE announcement on your screen.
I know 2 addons that make this possible.
1. [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
This addon allows you to create your own triggers and show alerts / play a soundfile whenever triggered.
All in all it's more work to configure but the triggers are also superior to them from SpellAlerter. Check the
MSBT-helpfile for more information on triggers. Type /msbt for the ingame menu.
2. [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
This one is really easy to configure and has the most important alerts allready built in. You basicly just
need to associate them with the sounds. Type /sa for the ingame menu.
These are the ones that I use. SpellAlerter for the standard alerts and MSBT for the more advanced
ones(also because with SpellAlerter I can save time because I don't need to create ALL triggers with MSBT).
To save your triggers/associations type /console reloadui.
For detailed information about how to add the soundfiles to the addons check out the readme.txt within the zip-file.
The pronounciation is not perfect but it works.
I have no idea if the spoken terms are everywhere the same.
bubble.mp3: Where I'm from we use this as a abreviation for Divine Shield and BOP.
revenge.mp3: I forgot to remove that one. I used it some time ago as annoucement for everytime I could use revenge on my warrior.
rezz.mp3: Short for Resurrection and other spells that bring players/pets back to life.
tigersfury.mp3: I use that one as a warning when a feral druid could attack.
