Capital City General/Trade chat outside Town

Is it possible, even if it requires editing files, to see capital city general and trade chats while outside the city limits? (ex. Dalaran trade while in Icecrown)

I always hated that I would miss out on groups LFM for a heroic i would like to go on, but couldnt see it b/c i was questing/farming.

Wouldnt be much of a problem if ppl would actualy use the LFG channel or the ingame LFG for instance UI.

As far as I know, it is impossible to join Trade Chat unless you are in a major city.

To change it otherwise would require the ability to tell the server that your character was always in a major city regardless of your actual position, and that would likely result in you getting a ban. And I don't even know if this is possible.

Some EU servers I've rolled on, have a custom channel that's used for casual chat across Azeroth and the likes, but you can't link items in it so instantly it's hindered.
