Hello there, New to raiding? want to know efficient add ons
I will help you out a little here.
I've been raiding ever since Burning Crusade and here are the addons i've used since then:
Firstly "Omen2". Link Here: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
This addon is basically a need for raids if your a DPS. It helps you manage your threat aswell as see'ing the rest of your raid members threat along with it, using this addon you wont have to worry about pulling from the tank again
Secondly "Deadly Boss Mods" [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
Deadly Boss Mods , another big addon out there, not just for raiding but even pvp, it can show times of towers in AV ect, in raids will show the timers of the major spells on bosses, for example flame wreath (the big wiper) of shade aran or the blizzard / arcane explosion , very useful addon.
Thirdly "Outfitter" [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
Optional addon but i use it alot , you can assign your certain gear to a one press of a button , for example, i have my PVE Healing Set binded to F1 , and the top icon of the bar you can see on my screenshot, my pvp binded to f2 and second on the bar ect,, It also has mount option, all resistence sets, and even when you pick a better resist item up or a +% of mount item it automatically assigns it (has an option in it for disable though).
This is basically for beginners getting started and i just set my UI to show them very few addons, heres some screenshots.
