Well this is technically a addon that unlocks the possibility to check Wowhead without having to alt-tab! For many full-screen players I guess this will be a savior, and to people that often want to check up armory for their target or people can also do that using this addon.
How does it work?
The addon does depend on a server to handle the requests so do not be surprised if it won't work that well in the beginning, I haven't tried it out with "heavy load" to see it's limit to how many can use it at the same time. Your game will query the server, then the server will do what ever you query about and respond in a way the game can understand it and show you the results.
The addon is only a small part of the real work. Everything you ask the addon to do will be generated and made on the custom server! This means there are thousand lines of PHP code that with the addons help makes you able to swiftly query Wowhead (or other features the server can offer) as easy as possible.

Plans for the future
(1) Add a link on the right-click character name list of options, so you can easier query for the persons spec without having to query the whole armory. The results will be output in the chat instead of opening the big frame to show you the results. (2) Add a web-based chat so you can read and post using the browser too, but only after you have authenticated by logging on WoW at least once. Using the IP the site can check for your character (last used) name and thus post as if you are in game using /cc to chat with. The chat log will be shown more or less like in game but only with more lines and text wont be trimmed like in game (if the line is too long). (3) Add the last functions, first I think I will add the factions browsing feature, but since you can't really click on links in the article pages it will be pointless to have the items listed (what you gain from the faction). We will see how I do it.

epicness :P, does it have its own database or does it connect to WoWheads? if it connects to WoWheads isnt it against the ToU since add-ons arent supposed to connect to stuff outside of WoW?

If you can make it search for quests, return comments and allow other addons to pickup on stuff like coordinates (Ala Tomtom) you'll have a real winner on your hands.
It can now search items, display top 5 comments and simple info as if its crafted, drop, dissenchantable, e.g. Working on it so it can search trough NPC and Quests before I release a alpha. At least it handles item searches and viewing without issues.
