Will running ACTool result in an auto-ban?

I'm working on some macros that I want to have automatically repeat but I read that if you are simply running AutoIt or ACTool you will get banned... I'm assuming that's not true but before I put too much time into it I'd like to know, thanks!

If you have a G11 or G15 you can use the logitech program to make macro's.
Never been banned for using my keyboard.
