The best PvE Build for Warlocks (50+) -
02-29-2008
I've checked many suggested talent builds for Demonolgy Locks in this forum and everybody misses out the most amazing talent: Mana Feed.
With Mana Feed your Felguard will never ever run out of mana, this means you can simply have Anguish, Cleave and Intercept on auto-cast and since my pet can just spam all these skills whenever they get ready I'm having a really hard time now to get the aggro.
To sum this up:
- MAX DPS with 3 DoTs, Drain Life spam, perma-Cleaving Felguard - very fast killing
- Pet is never running out of mana
- You are never running out of mana due to Drain Life / Lifetap - No Downtimes at all
- Your gear won't get red, because you aren't getting hit
Q: Why didn't you skill Improved Healthstone? I really need it!
A: You won't need it as long as your profile doesn't completely suck. (3 adds all the time or more)
Q: Why did you skill Fel Concentration when your pet has the aggro anyways?
A: It can always happen that your pet dies, so you can draintank the remaining adds better and won't be totally screwed, plus when you have a total kickass gear (tons of spelldmg) the best pet won't hold the aggro forever, that's where you will really need this talent to keep on gliding mana-efficient.
Q: Why didn't you skill Demonic Tactics?
A: I'm playing with DoTs & Drain, so I won't need the 5% spellcrit and my Felguard is doing fine without this talent, the points are placed better elsewhere. I'm better having a perma-Cleaving Felguard (Mana Feed) than a Felguard with 5% crit more and no mana, the Cleaving one will do a lot more damage overall.
This really boosted my xp/h a lot so I'm gonna share the talent build, enjoy.

i lvled my spelldmg low lock till 55 with dot/run all mobs i saw.
after reaching 58 and then went into the outland the mobs had to much hp and i respecced like you linked. i think a solid demo spec is the best lvl spec till 70
Do demonology till level 60. By then you should have some spell dmg stacked up, then stick to affliction, you will be able to take a couple mobs at once and do some considerate dmg.

Perfect talent build I got a lvl 70 warlock aswell, my main, and did lvl from 50-70 as felguard. Did test some other builds aswell, but I like felguard best. It's really fun in pvp aswell, can be hard to time intercept and stuff, but that's fun. You can also skip 2 points in imp coa and choose imp drain soul.
i would go DEMO, but i was bored when i specced felguard, its just a 2 button race then, affliction is nice also, its really what you like in the game, just try it out

Congratz you just made the warlock class into a hunter...
I prefered heavy affliction with a sligth bit of demonlogy for my leveling. The felhunter makes quite a good tank, aslong as you don't damage the mobs that is..
In the end my build looked a bit like this: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
Don't remember how effective it was but it worked for me. Mainly cause affliction don't scale that well with gear and thus you don't need the best gear to do the damage.
