i have found that in arenas with my rogue i have gotten up to a 2k arena team with a shadowstep rogue

Never do arena without vilepoisons.

Go mutilate while you have daggers and go find a mage/priest/warlock/druid/s.priest/rogue/paladin <--(lol) and ezmode your way to 1850 and get the maces.

Go this spec once you have the maces --> [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

Shs is the best don't let anyone tell you otherwise,I myself have never seen or heard of a 2k+rating rogue thats multilate.Here's the spec you want:

Mutilate is fine, I myself play 2k+ in all brackets as mutilate. People who just pick up ShS because everyone else does annoy me. You can get 2k+ as any spec, even combat, it's just harder vs certain combos. Every spec has its ups and downs.

actually , for 2vs2 with a discipline priest, mutilate or deep combat are the speccs to go for..

for everything else ShS wins though I'd say

As the others say it really depends on the gear, the team setup and the weapons you are wielding. If you are really sure that daggers is what u want to use (which i fully understand because it's so much fun to play as a dagger rogue :P) Then i suggest you to get 2x really slow daggers and go mutilate. Also this brings a more balance to the team. Yes you will miss out on Cheat Death but think about it this way; is it really that good to give the healer 5 secs extra to heal you when you can take 5% less physical dmg at all times and be exceptionally harder to hit in mutilate specc?
If you decide to go swords or fists i strongly recomend 31/0/30. Real fun and once you get to know the specc you will wtfpwn everyone . You can also shadowstep with swords or fists .
Maces = combat maces which is abit trickier specc to build but so much fun .

I would definately say 20/0/41 is awsome with cheat death prevents damage that less couple of seconds, also have ghostly strike for dodge up by 15% for a few, also shs maces are wicked can really whoop up druids make sure you get that kick up to silence them from heals. xD good luck. 70 UD Rogue here.
