One simple question.
How good is it to level with elemental specc?

It isn't. I have a 70 shaman that I levelled as Enhance 1-60, and was recently levelling up an alliance side shaman, and made the switch from Elemental back to Enhance around 35.

Enhance gives you more damage, and it's far easier to gear. If your heart is set on Elemental then level as prohance, pick up skinning and LW and build up a gear set from questing and Leatherworking BOP items when you reach 70, it's just not worth the added strain to level as Elemental.

I have a shammy friend. and he tells me that Enhancement is faster leveling but elemental is better for raiding and stuff. Idk. not a big fan of shammys.

Both have viability, although it all depends on raid makeup and whether you're running heavy melee or not, if you've got two-three rogues and a DPS warrior, then having an Enhance Shaman is incredible, Ele Shaman aren't as big of a DPS increase for casters, but they hold their own just fine, I wouldn't say that one spec is better than the other for PVE, but Elemental definitely has a lot more viability in PVP.

I had a 70 Draenei Shaman. I went Enhance from 1-54. Elemental from 54-70 and Endgame. I Prefer elemental, I think its faster and easier to control/use. And its better for End Game PvP/PvE IN GENERAL.

umm, enhancement= 1-58(or 60)

Once you hit 60 buy your new talents, and here should be your spec.

Im 67 shammy now, and i crit mad, if people try to gank me(Other than 70 geared), I rip faces.

Other than that, it depends if you have the gear for elemental, or else its gonna suck. So if you dont have any bonus damage on your gear stick with enhancement.

In general better for PVE? On what basis? PVP, yes. PVE? It's easier, yeah since you only spam Lightning Bolt, and gear scales easier initially, but as you go on in content Ele Shaman DPS tops out as being much, much lower than an enhancement shaman, and an equal geared Ele and Enh shaman will have a huge difference in damage towards the end of Hyjal/midway through BT.

That being said, it's important to know that Elemental spells are immune to nature, and that it is a slowdown on quests in Nagrand, although Ele have more survivability they have more downtime, it's all in playstyle and I wouldn't go so far as to say that Ele is easier for levelling 60-70, I'd say they're about equal

Hmm, weel. Ive specced elemental now and I think it is better than enhance.
