This is just for fun, what do you guys think about this specc I made? It's a PvE tanking, yes Tanking specc for Priests;

Gear should be PvP gear so you get all the armor that you can and gems should be stamina and healing since you'll just be spam healing yourself (+ shielding, dotting etc)

Where, praytell, do you expect to find cloth gear that gives the priest parry, dodge, and block stats? I even comprehend your attempt to replace the defense stat with resilience, but a tanking Disc Priest simply doesn't work well. I've tried it already.

You may have near-infinite health and almost limitless heals, but what do you expect to do? Spam-heal and wait for the mob to get bored?

I know it won't work well, I was just trying something different. And others would obviously DPS the mob down. If this worked well you'd have a tank and healer in 1 so you'd get 4 dps spots in a party. ^^

till you get hit for 25k by a boss cause you dont have enough armor and you cant dodge/perry/block it cause you have no deterrence
edit: but this thread does make me wonder, why dont pali tanks heal them selfs ever so often?

actually, my friend tanks w/ his priest all the time when we go on fun runs thru non heroics :P (i know completely diff story) its just amusing to watch a priest tank something.

Because when casting, you cannot block/parry.
