That spec is so outdated and past It's time. Prep daggers is good fun, and was fun before resilience but times are changing. If you want to play daggers play Mutilate. 41/20/0 is the dagger spec to be... Shadowstep daggers is the biggest load of crap unless all you fight is green geared mages sitting down in AV.

IMHO get the 2 minute cooldown pvp trinket, then take the 2 points out of nerves of steel, put one last point into agression, and get ghostly strike.

As a Vet Combat mace rogue myself, I have loved straight combat and ar/prep builds for both arena and general pve. But since the patch, I find this build, 11/41/9, to fit the exact profile i was looking for. Good burst/consistant damage, wicked energy regen, high hit, and all around good viability(imp sprint, imp sap/blind, and the best assassination talents). Especially if you are like me and find it VERY hard to give up mace stun procs for an ShS build.

With the mutilate buff next patch I'd say once you have your hands on some decent PvP gear (S1, or whatever becomes available without spending arena points next season) I would suggest you try it. Playing a prep spec as your first real pvP spec will get you very used to being able to spam 2 sets of each cooldowns to win small scale fights, and isn't helpful to your development as a player (In my opinion.).

These are my talents and I find them to be pretty good.. works with maces, swords and fists, dunno about daggers.. don't think so.
