Re: PvE Raiding Specs - All Classes - 10-28-2007

Pretty good specs aside from a few.

Here's a fairly better ret pally build. [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
The points in precision make it so you don't need as much +hit rating.

Also, [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] for PvE holy healing spec.
Blessed life for raiding lols.

And for rogues, this spec is a better raid combat spec.
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ] this is assuming you have swords (if you don't you're not doing as much damage as you could be doing)

As for subtlety... you can raid sub? ;p

Warlock Tank assist: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

I was formly the spec above the extra mitigation for the tank & healers is an overall better spend of your aff points to get to UA. Obviously not as strong dps wise as a SB nuke spec but brings versatility to the lock as a Raid player.

0/5 Supression based on the lock having 202 Hit.

This spec still makes you an awesome farmer at the same time withouth having to respec all the time between raiding and farming. Its ok for PVP as well.

Warlock Raid assist: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

Mal specced lock and 1/2 HS makes for a raid assist lock whilst mainting solid DPS and ability to farm efffectively and do ok in PVP. Not the DPS that a SB nuke spec can achieve however.

In raids, assuming you're in a fairly hardcore guild, seeing most of the end game content, it's pretty much combat swords or gtfo, it just puts out more damage then any other spec/build. It's like having a discipline priest healer instead of a holy priest.

Your talent tree should look like the one I posted after you get two swords because maces is a pvp spec. Go swords, go raid, get epix. ;p

We have 3 discipline priests who heal fine, top our healing charts, aswell as do great in pvp with Discipline.

I meant Discipline as in 41 in disc for pain suppression.

Are they holy/disc? Or 41 in disc?

Because if they're 41 in disc and raiding they're bad.

Re: PvE Raiding Specs - All Classes - 11-01-2007

Just to give my warlock advice, in my opinion you dont take backlash in a raid...

If you get hit it is that your tank (and OT) are noobs.

For more for shadow damage, the SM/Ruin build, as i linked below.

[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

Also you should check Demo (with sac) and destro. For infinite mana purpose.

But I after a quick scan didn't found that spec and I'm not that at the moment.

Re: PvE Raiding Specs - All Classes - 11-02-2007

there are _very_ few rogues raiding with subtetly nowadays. maybe there'll be more in 2.3, who knows. as for the hunter mm dps spec, it's not good.

Re: PvE Raiding Specs - All Classes - 11-02-2007

A melee PvE shaman does not need toughness and anticipation, cause you shouldn't get hit by anything. Thats what the tanks are for.

And trust me, Natures Guidance, Totemic Mastery and Totemic Focus, is not worth skipping. The extra 5 yards from Totemic Mastery does A LOT + Totemic, and Tidal focus, for maximum mana sufficiency.

The last 5 point in either Healing Focus or Convection. I like Healing focus, cause it is a big help when grinding.

Improves Shaman melee PvE spec:
