Hey i know theres a couple usergroups, and just recently u made a emu server one, so i was wondering about the possiblity of a Model Editing User Group. The model editing section just had its 1000th thread, so it is obviously important. A_Snake01 and i were talking, and it either should be called Model Edtining Teachers, or Model Editing Specialists, or Model Editing Experts. I like teacher, cause thats how i view myself, but snake likes specialist, and i guess there is several specialists, so it makes more sense to have that. If you decided to do this, my suggestions are obviously myself, Snake, Somethingcool (even though he doesnt frequent, he still diserves, Krazzee and BloodofWar (same with them), and also Idusy. All 6 of us have done significant things in model editing, all diserving for their own reasons. Snake for knowing a lot about model editing, and having great posts on it, same with somethingcool. Krazzee is obvious, and BloodofWar was very important in the begining. Idusy has done quiet a bit recently in Model Editng and has become very good. And to my self, i dont mean to sound boastful, but i have done SO MUCH for the model editing community on this site. I actually just finished my 18th guide today, and id say of those 18, 10 were in model editing. I help people with questions wether its via pm or in threads. I trust all 6 of us have, and i hope ull take this into consideration

Now Krazzee, SomethingCool, and BloodofWar have been inactive, but still are desirving nevertheless.
What defines a Model Editing Specialist?
A model editing specaialist is someone who does any of the following: who answer the questions, fill the request, who make our repacks, who organize collections, write guides, makes mpqs, fixs peoples errors, and make things better for every1
They should also have a large amount of experience model editing, do dbc, at least basic ones, such as 1blp-->3 blp. They also should be a contributor or higher. Not to say that because they are a contibutor they are more talented or experienced, but a contributor shows they are active in forums, and they are respeceted alltogether. The person should not only be a contibutor, but has contiburted in the model editing section. Ergo lets say Relz has some amazing model editing talent, but he hasnt contributed muc, if any, to the model editing section, ergo, he should not be decided.
How do new ones come?
I believe that the person should be approved be other Model Edting Specialists. First off they need to meet all the requirements listed above. Then one Specialist would suggest there name, and the others would vote and decide if they agree. This should not be something lightly as it shoulnt be for just any model editor, but the best of the best. There shouldnt be 50 model editing specialists running around, it should be a 'eleite group' so its signified who really are the 'go to guys'.

I can't really see what this will accomplish. I mean what do you want with it? special access (ie like an elite grp section) or just epeen (new title).?
I dont really think there should be any special forum, were not noggs. It be cool to have a section for just us though where we could discuss our current projects, ideas, and such. What i was thinking was so people knew who to go to for any questions, requests, help, or other things related to model editing, so its evident who is the distinguished model editors, and who isnt. Virtually the same reason there is a Emu Usergroup

thats why we have the model editing request area (ask for requests, questions ect.) then those who want can help if they want to and decide not to if they don't feel like it. still dont see the meaning of it... but i dont see the meaning of a emu grp either....
Its just so that the 'specialists' are acknowledged, and both in EMU and Model Editing you need teachers and experts, where in other forums, thats not neccesary.

rofl you dont need teachers.. ppl can just read the stickys then it should be pretty straight forward... and you can always see who are active in those forums and then ask them.
just put it in your sig perhaps? "come to me for questions on model editing" then its sorted... ?
To edit usergroup settings and accept/deny members, the controls are in your User CP -> Group Memberships tab.

KuRIoS, it's just like anything with the emu experts, they have exact guides on how to do it, but some people have technical issues, ect. And with model editing, they have a much broder range of things to try, not all of them stickied or sometimes not even posted.
Also, people in these usergroups name's should be like.. orange
IDK we could vote on a name. Experts, Specialists, Teachers, Elites, something. BTW Idusy, not orange, purple owns IMO, but i guess Orange is sorta taken, but i still think it should be purple, maybe just a different shade.
