I think this site should have like monthly or annually gold givaways. They give gold away to other MMOwned memebers for most posts, best posts, or whatever.

It could probably be used from the extra money from donations if you asked for them. There's always the option of just giving special ranks/titles/colorful name text/yadayada. That would probably be more simple.

i think its funny how people assume your made of money when you run a website :P And if we gave gold to people who had most posts then spam would be off the scale

Here is what gold is based on. 1 gold is equal to 1 dollar out of matts wallet. And if we were to hold these contests, Matt would have to give away alot of money (ultimately depleting MMOwneds funds for better scripts and extras) and as marlo said, the spam would get out of control. So basically, the website would become unmanagable, and i dont think the world will be the same without mmowned.
