Ok i would first like to State that I love Mmowned
It in my opinion is the best WOW emulation, exploit, exploration, And Model Editing site
that i have visited on the web.
I've been on Mmowned since 06-12-2007 and i believe have became more of an "Active Member" in the last two
month.

I would also like to state that this has NOT to do with "Complaining" about the "Leechers Group" more so to
explain how i feel about it, Rep ,And possibly some other topics.
Please do not flame me, if you disagree with me we can have a conversation about it not a "Flame War".
Last i ask if this could be took into the slightest consideration by the Admins and Mods

Okay we know i am know great expert on anything pertaining to this forum and neither do i
have the Tags, Colors of name, Or !-REP-! to show it BUT i contribute almost Daily whether it be Answering Questions,
Creating Guides, Or Sharing an Experience.
I have nine Rep thats only four more than what is required to get out of the "Lazy Leechers" Group.
Before i received my reputation after my hard attemp to state my opinions on this group
i had three rep, And at that time i had already made contributions to this site but they where left unnoticed.
Why do i believe they were here is some guidance for that question telling about "High rep Expert People", "Normals(ME", And "The true leechers"

Why do "The True Leechers" not get rep?
1.They don't Contribute to the site
2.No one likes them enough to rep them
3.There almost never seen posting only downloading peoples stuff unless asking questions
that people don't bother to read
4.The don't rep others
5.They just don't give off the appealing "Rep Me" feeling!

Why do the "Normals" not get enough rep?
1.They aren't Respected Like The "High rep Expert People"
2.They Don't Already have 500 rep
3They Don't Have the "Emulation Expert" Tag
4.They Don't post as well, And make more mistakes then The "High rep Expert People"
5.People Are just To lazy, Mean, Leecher-like, or dumb to rep them

Why do the "High rep Expert People" not get enough rep?
1.People Are just To lazy, Mean, Leecher-like, or dumb to rep them.
2.Rep is not promoted in their sig or post so people don't Remember.
3.A leecher comes Downloads their hard Work without a word or anything.

Ok so really "The True Leechers" Don't deserve rep so we can leave them out of this. (Not meaning you people in the lazy leechers group.)
Now I am not disagreeing with the admins on anything im angry
at the leechers and disappointed with the people who contribute and get
in the "Leechers Group".
Disappointed not because the admins did this but because there are
leechers who don't REP.
Its a loop sort of you see we made this group to get rid of leechers but its causing problems because of leechers!
So how can i possibly be angry at anyone but these Leechers.(The true ones not the group.)
But there is one more thing i am upset about the people who forget to rep just because where "Normals" not
"High rep Expert People". I mean i understand why they do it i mean if this post was typed like this
"|-|3|_|_() |_33(|-|3R$ $u(|<$" then people probably would not give it as much attention and its the same principle for REP.




But here is what I am thinking of....
A solution!
A solution for this probably isn't an idea that just pops and can be fixed instantly, But with time.
So i think we should think of some ideas and tips we can follow to fix this.
So Here is my contribution to my idea of making ideas.(And tips!)

TIPS
1.Contribute To Mmowned!
2.Promote Rep it you Posts and Sigs Don't ask for it but you can say "+rep is a better way of saying thanks.".
3.Rep people for all of their contributions even if small its a contribution.
4.Make your posts more appealing it will make people feel you deserve rep.
5.Make posts longer and easier to read can make it a better contribution so you will get rep
6.Make Friends, Have a good history, Contribute to the community, And be a good Active and friendly member of Mmowned


IDEAS(To Admins and such)
1.Do some sort of Event to Promote Rep
2.Even Though you dont allow asking for rep make it clear we can remind people about giving rep(if we are even allowed)
3.Allow the leechers group to give rep(i mean if their giving rep they cleary dont seem like complete Leechers.)
4.Make a post or a sticky post telling people to give rep and promote it (your admins people listen to you more that me).

Hopefully this gives my opinions out clearly and lets you guys understand what i mean.

the thing is that most of the people that you have helped were leechers hence u were given no rep because they do not care about others, i have only read the first part of ur thread because i must go to bed now as im really tired, but it is good to see a well thought of suggestion. will read the rest in 6 hrs

I agree with just about everything you said there.
+rep for a well written suggestion (clearly this took time).
As for the +rep being enabled for the "Leecher" group, it will probably have to be discussed further within the staff.

The post is very well organized and thought out as KuRIoS said its good to see a post like that, and I have to agree with alot of your points. People do not rep as much as they should. Often people seem to think saying +rep will actually give them rep, which they are mistaken on. Often they say it and dont actually do it for no apparent reason, and even less often, people actually give rep.

Nice post - I really enjoy having people like you on MMOwned. Why? They make such a difference, it makes the experience here (Mine, at least) So much better. Thinking everything out, being thorough, and most of all, GOOD ENGLISH.

I know there are members who aren't that fluent in english, but for those who have it as their first (and only in many cases) language, and type 'liyk ths, and nvr use full wordz or 'z' instead of 's' becuz they feel sum need to'... I despise you

I like the thought but personally i don't think this site should be about getting rep for better things.

I think it should be about contributing to the community and in-turn you might get some extra stuff...

We are lucky Matt doesn't make us pay to use this wonderful site and i think that some people are so obsessed with getting rep here it makes them post useless things just to obtain a higher rank.

TBH if this site wasn't full of leechers i would suggest to disable rep because then the people that are here just for rewards have nothing to spam for.

But the sad part is....We do have leechers and to show who actually helps rep is needed and extra feutures are necessary.

So all in all i agree.

1. some of them do, but its reposts, then they complain that its deleted.
2. It has nothing to do with liking, i started of on 0 rep just as everyone else post quality stuff that is well orgarnized and you will get repped.

4. nothing to do with repping others, you dont get rep for repping others (shouldnt)

1. uhm we dont get more rep than anyone else. It may just be that we get less because ppl say "you dont need rep" . We have posted good quality stuff that ppl likes and we have helped out alot hence our high rep.

2. you shouldnt have to promote rep and i do not like ppl promoting rep in their sigs.

2. hmm i dont like that idea, but it is possible. give the new system some time tho soon even the leechergrp will know what rep can do to them.
3. no, do not rep for all of contributions, rep if u feel like the post helped you in one way or another.

5. not longer, but better. quality over quantity. as said a guide without graphic illustrations can be a pain.
6. yeah community is a good thing, has nothing to do with rep tho, but surely makes MMOwned a nicer place.

1. yeah doubt that will happen, i cant see what this would help as most ppl dont even read our news post.

3. debating about that atm. we are fearing rep trading which is an instand -100 rep just for us finding out.
