If we can Hide our posts from guests, why not the 'lazy leechers' udergroup?

Eh, I could see it helping, but being a nice person on this forum and helping people with exploits and such they are confused on is another way to get rep, and if you stop leechers from seeing the first most with the exploit or whatever, People trying to get rep that way can't get it.

Bah, I got changed to a lazy leecher randomly today in the middle of searching something was just about to rep someone for their post too lol. If you limit them more, it would encourage less people to sign up, like Matt said, the guests are the true leechers here.

This is already horridly stupid.... I cant give rep, I cant have a signature. I might as well just say **** it. This is a bad change IMO.

Flame On because there are some who truly do Leech, but this is REALLY hard on those whom are new to the site but contribute. It basically makes it around 80% harder to get rep and not be a leecher, since (rough estimate fyi) about 80% of what I see online are in the "Lazy Leecher" group, which means we rely on that other 20% for the rep. Chances that someone without the status looks at any particular thread which is a contribution to the forums is slim, as there are many forums in which to contribute.

This isnt the solution, I dont even see the point in having such limits, put the title maby, but to take away forum signature, +rep ability, AS WELL AS limit the PM box, makes it hard to suceed on the forums.

I have graphics requests from my thread now, coming into my mail box, and with like 5 mails, Its full, wtf am I supposed to do?

People are going to start leaving, Ill probably be one of them soon.

gothian, I have said this about 20 times, People new to the site shouldn't have lazy leecher. It. is. a. glitch, it will be fixed.

I disagree with this thread, mainly because while I agree Lazy Leechers should start contributing, This site is still here to help people.

I keep going back from Sargent to Lazy Leecher, back to Sargent, then back to Lazy Leecher... wtf?? I want my goddamn signature. Im trying to contrib, but I cant attain any rep to help me out, this is bullshit

Some problems I have with this:

1- PM limitations: Theres no reason that simply since you havnt received a lot of rep that you cant have more than 5 PMs. its not your fault that you dont get +rep for your contributions, its those who take what you offer and leave without doing anything.

2- Search Limits: When contributing... isnt it always wise to be sure that something hasnt been posted already? To Avoid flames / People not giving you rep (since its a repost)

3- Since obviously.... MAJORITY of the members of MMOwned are "Lazy Leechers" now... it only makes it HARDER to get +rep since a lot of people cant +rep you.

4- Signature: WTF????

Agreed. A lot of my strengths are in troubleshooting and helping others, not creative ideas of my own , so helping others on computer issues/scams/exploits/whatever are really all I have. (But I'm working on a VB program that should rock! )

But being 'restricted' to not being able to see only the 'non-selfish' threads would be even more detrimental to us who are trying hard to earn our status back.
