ok i do realise that sometime people waste a thread on one video tha they didnt make and everyone gose lol +rep wich ended up with no + rep in general chat but sometimes you have real good threads wich dont belong anyware but general chat
for example those select few threads wich are smart/helpful/pure epic win and are made in stickies can no longer get rep
there have been some real good threads posted in general because people didnt realise that they couldnt of been rep'd for it for example

this could of gone in gaming because its about another game but the writer felt that it belonged in general subsiqeuntly he will recive no rep for the stupidly funny and massive chunk of text

i could of put this in the guides section (ok they are ment to be wow guides but...) insted i put it in general resulting in no rep for me :-(
cheezit once posted his EPIC guide to the mmowned ranking system it helped many people and at the time recived aloda rep as he should but now he wont get a drip of the +rep (not that he needs it it was speeking figrituvly) [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
Of corse i see the other side of the debate that some times silly threads are rep'd

(srry kurios i just dont think it deserves to be rep'd)
my point is we need to do 2 things IMHO
1. bring back +reping in general
2. move the video section up to near the top and make it all vids so people post there vids there and they do get seen
but of course there is the point i havnt thought of and will be pointed out within 5 second of me posting the thread

I agree with you in your first point.
About the 2. point, I think it's just fine where it is now. Another section "up here" would mess things a bit up. More people would post in it and it would require additional moderation.
i moved video screenshot showoff section to the top..
i was kinda planning on turning this section into a non-postcount upping section..

*smiles* Thankyou for calling my threads funny ^^ But seriously, If you wanna give rep, you can find another post on another forum by that person, and send the rep that way (Please don't abuse this though..There 'is' a reason you can't give rep on general) Also, I made my threads to be funny :P I don't care about rep.........

well if it was up to me we removed postcount completely so it wouldnt have any influence or epeen satus on mmowned, because ppl can obtain high postcount within a few weeks of hardcore spamming.

It's happened, sadly. Any female that has posted their picture has had their Rep List filled with 'Nice pic ' 'M0ar bewbz pl0x' and so on. The rep was deleted though.

Wow nicely put, someone got lots of rep for just posting their pic being a girl?? lol that's terrible I agree that rep should be brought back into general chat section except there has to be a way to remove the crap like moving all videos to the video section is a good idea , I'm a noob sometimes at ideas (except my booty bay - old outlands idea, I was even suprised with that!) so uhh yeah! lol
in general too!
