Maybe you could create tournament who could create better names for certain number of reputation (the winner would get forum gold or chance to change its username or something).

40-80 Super Active Member (would get its own forum part that only they and higher ranks would get permission to enter) (yellow name)
80-150 Contributor same as they have now maybe little more sig space (5pixels)
(1000 posts)150-300 orange (very lewt) Revered member (custor rank thing larger attachments or stuff orrr can have ability to have other site's links in their sigs! (after approval of moderator or admin himself)
(1500 posts)300-450 Exalted (or elite) ofc professor plums color (purple in non-clue way) same as revered ( i mean abilities)+ larger sig space! (access in every forum)
(2500 posts)450+ Forum Policeman or cops or men in blue (^-^) if its possible every even letter blue, every odd white like ipwn hard etc :P same as exalted but more sig space + they can have like 15 rep power.
After that admin decides will they be moderators or super moderators (access in every forum)

Now for donators ! they can have color they have now, and ability to change their username once in a month or 2. (apporved by admin ofc (so it wouldn't be igetfreakinleidalot as username :P ) more space room then contributors more forum gold as they come to the site and donator who donates more then 35$ gets super donater status (same just they have custom rank thing and more room in sig space then regular donator)

EDIT: don't flamezor a lot it took me only 2minutes to figure this out :P (maybe wrong about sig space it would turn out quite large at the end).
EDIT2: Moderators could change to ANY previous rank, and still be mods (in case they wish other groups colour if that is possible) And mods and forums MIB (men in blue) have custom thing under location (called what they want write what they want)
EDIT3: MIB can be called Super Special Agent (nice usergroup huh?)

Personally, i think this all seems way to complex.
I love how it is right now, the purple for elites is hot. And the fact i can change my username is kool too. I just also dont see the point in anything afterwards, cause all 500+ people are supermods (Just realized we have no mods!)

It is complex i totally agree, but i think that would bring more traffic to mmowned.com that means someone may <3 mmowned and donate and thats good for us (site is up) and good for matt (he has more cashzor). I think this kind of tournament will be especially interesting and mostly everyone will try to win that prise :P) and...

I think we really need more mods (i don't say super mods don't do their jobs) but site like this needs moderators, many people don't read NO QUESTIONS/NO REQUESTS HERE. And sometimes when all supermods go on vacation/somewhere with their family why would they bother moderating for that short period of time. Let them enjoy the vacation :P.

why not make.....a..Super-Elite Forum? and when they reach that point they automatically get 15 Rep Power(if they dont already have it) Ability to Change the Title and how about Ability to Change there Name Color?
and to Fault yes most Super-Mods have it but gives people stuff to work for even more ^_^

2500 - 1710 (your posts) = 840
450 - 346 (your rep) = 104
