Okay,
I don't know where this should belong, but i think this is a better choice than General Chat.
Now, i post in the General Programs section of the site all the time, but besides like 1 thread, atm the section is dead. I am a terrible Model Editor and the emulation community as a whole has completely collapsed. (don't argue, it is not the point of this thread to start a flamewar). Besides that, and because i don't play WoW really, the only section I can really contribute to is General Programs. I really enjoy writing apps, but every time i write something, i get 1 reply and 11 views or so. The only thing that has anymore than that is my web browser. I am trying as hard as I can to contribute, but no one visits that section.
My idea was to try to find a way to increase traffic to that forums, i don't know if that could be accomplished by just posting this, to raise awareness, or maybe by moving that whole category up farther on the page. I do realize that MMOwned is an MMO site, not a general programs site, but I really enjoy it and am trying to contribute something to it.
I don't know how posting this will turn out, but I hope that maybe you can try to boost the section a bit?'

Reputation: 23 Level up: 67%, 169 Points needed |   | | | I think that is a great idea, just have to figure out ways to get more traffic there, but I think there is more people interested in other topics and that may be why not so much traffic is going to the General Programing section, but yah if people can think of ways to get more traffic there I think it will be a great thing. =) |

Also, contributing doesn't require recognition and praise, although it's good for your self esteem and raises your e-peen it's unrequired. |
