I suggest having smaller donation periods, I have some money leftover on an old pre-paid credit card and want to donate VIA PayPal, but I don't have enough to purchase the minimum of 6 months, so maybe add 3 months or even 1 month? Money shouldn't be an issue, quality should.

If you have it too low, then the people who donate the 5$ or 10$ will be the leechers who will then tell all their friends it's either not worth it or something.
(It's totally worth it.)
If you wanna donate do it for the amount specified, 15$ being the lowest, if you wanna be a man donate 200$. |

Quality should mean more than money when it comes to such a community. Maybe the suggestion should be, after a set amount of time and reputation should you be allowed to donate.

I've been here on/off, just looking around, reading instead of posting. I've got nothing to share either since I don't really play games, however the place interests me nevertheless.
Also I would like to know why your opinion is that you should need to wait a certain amount of time and have a specific amount of reputation to donate? That doesn't seem like "donation" then, as it unspecifies the meaning of "donation". |

However, there is not a single site that has so much up to date information than MMOwned.
By lowering the risk of childish behavior in certain spots on the forum just means improved function to the community and those who access it.

so no it's not a win win | Eh, personally I think its a good idea, even if people decide not to donate after the 3 months, I think it is a good way for people to donate without donating alot, but still giving back to the site, so yah I would say its a good thing. |

So I don't think MMOwned should change it just because you want too skim thru what there is and get it over with, also the BAWX is something that won't ever get old as long as you read the rules there, the bawx is what a lot of people actually donate for I think... |
