I was reluctant on making this, but I've thought about bringing it up a while ago.
Specifically in the Shout Bawx, sometimes Donator's would often get abuse from other users in the bawx for being a Donator and often use it as a way to put us down or insult us.
Now, I'm not usually targeted in the Bawx. But I do see it as an offence when other Donators get a reply like that.
I'm not sure if any other donators feel this way or not. But besides the fact we donated because we enjoy the site or not, we are often treated close to leecher status in an area we love to be around.
Now I may not be one to say I contribute alot of things and I never have done much either. But when the option was given to donate, I did so right away. There was no incentives back then, no special title, no Shout bawx and not alot of anything.
But I did it because I learned alot from this website and felt it was right to donate. Although sometimes, the responses I see in the SB make me angry that people should mock another just because they choose to pay to support rather than submit to contribute.
Yes, I understand higher ranks will always have a more respected say on things, but this a website to commute and enjoy. In the world people work together and don't mock and certainly not put friends and families down for working/studying or living in odd/different places (Butchers/morgues/nurses/students/gardener)
All I'm suggesting now is peace between we regulars. Let's stand shoulder to shoulder and not belittle one another.

I do see this happen now and then though.
You got 2 kinds of donators though. You've got the good ones and the bad ones.
The reason most people hate donators is because a part of the donators leeches accounts/etc in the shared lounge and more but not all donators are like that
However not everyone sees it that way. They will think every donator is like that.
I understand your point but it will be hard to do it since there will always be accounts leeched and people will always blame leechers/donators
What I also see happening is that a donator asks a stupid question in Sb and contribs and up flame him etc,... There's just a part of the donator group which made the entire group look bad methinks.
But never forget..we also have leechers in Contrib and even elite and up

And I can't be arsed to just google for some random program that alters your voice or other useless crap and post it here like others do. The reputation that gets thrown around here is worthless. I've seen Reputation handed out for batchfiles! Like the one that hides folders for example. /facepalm
I don't care about my or any else's reputation. It doesn't mean shit.
That said I still give reputation if I really like a post...

Also at thrillseeker the point of reputation is that, the more you help the more help you recieve and the more privlages you are granted which encourages everyone to help each other in hope of recieveing rep, thats why there is so many repost, people just want fast rep.
Anyway, ive not been singled out because for being a doner, but doners are at the bottom of the chain (in the bawx and so for) and you should expect to have someone say somthing eventually.

Most donators try to contribute eventho they have their donation rank and access..
