Negative reputation?

I don't know if this has been suggested before (I searched and found nothing, please don't flame me), but what about a -rep button in addition to the +rep one? It can be very useful when someone:

- Post useless or non working stuffs just to try to make some rep.
- Post things like the mail "Greetings, it has come to our attention that you are trying to sell/trade your account." (common sense, repost and very old).
- Make a copy-paste.
- Ask for rep at the end of his post.
- Attempt to trade in wrong sections (optional).

Maybe I forgot something, but you get the idea.

Obviously the button should NOT be available to all of us. Just imagine a leecher that starts to give -rep to good contributors. I suggest to make the button available only to trusted members such as contributors or higher (not even donators if they have just a few rep and posts).

Agreeing with the -reps, but i do only think its Mods and Admins that can do that.

Think it should probably be available to people who have like +50 or +100 Rep or above. If not, the people with under that will go and totally Downrate the actual Contributors and stuff.

But I don't think a -Rep button is such a good idea, anyways. What if you post something that is great, but then somebody says its shit and Downrates you? He/she could have 4 Rep Power, and you loose 4 Rep because you posted something they didn't think was great.

@ Blackboy0: if someone has 100 or more rep I don't think that he will give you -rep just because he don't like your post. As said before it's not about like or don't like, it's just when you post REALLY bad stuffs like reposts, copy-pastes etc. If you post something good and new you should not fear the -rep button

Seriously. everyone would just go -repping eachother. Just get Mod/Legendary/NewsGuy to be able to use ur brain while -reping.

Legendaries, mods, admins, and news team members have the ability to -rep.

From what I hear (as I wasn't around here when it was changed), elites had the ability to -rep as well, but it was abused. Imagine if 40% of this site could -rep? It would be pointless.
