More Services. Less Threads.

As some of you know, there was a whole bunch of threads being made to have people comment your video and the user would get rep or an account. But then a sticky was made in scam help section [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] to post your services or post your youtube video. And a rule was made against starting that kind of thread.

It seems this same concept could help our forum yet again. Make things more organized and stop the posts designed for getting users rep... you know who your are. For example, there's a lot of warez posts aka "ask for anything" where people post what they want and the OP searches on warezbb and sends them a rapidshare link. One way to solve this is making a sticky in shared for posting your services of getting warez. Then, users can go to the sticky and look at who they want leeching the RS link off their favorite warez site. This would save a whole bunch of threads being made.

Some of you may be mad that i could be ending your 'free rep spree' but this has gotten out of control and needs to be fixed.

There is actually a thread on Basically Requesting anything From Movies to Games to Softwares and stuff, And I have not seen a single post being made on that thread.
A quick questions, what exactly are you saying going to happen?

I like the idea of a "services" thread, but exclude the warez.

Exactly, as people are saying: NO WAREZ! If you want warez, go to warez-bb or any other site you choose. Demonoid for torrents, whatever. MMOwned isn't a warez website. We're a... well, I guess you can't say we're an MMO site, as we have diablo1,2,3 stuff and that isn't an MMO. But yeah, we're MMOwned! We aren't WarezOwned, PERIOD.

So essentially, you want to stop people from rep whoring after you yourself have already repwhored enough rep to get elite?
But on topic, I do agree with this. I despise people that post some really stupid thread that just gets them to search on another site, and then get huge insane reputation off of it, when other hard-working members of MMOwned work months to get that same reputation.

I think there should be a stickied thread with a list of warez sites, so these threads would end up stoping

We'd just need one thread that you can post your various services that you can do around the net. Kinda like 1 stop shopping. It doesn't have to include warez. I was just giving an example.

MMOwned isn't about making sole services where one person is benefiting. Wouldn't you rather have the forums be more clean and less disorganized with everyones service threads everywhere. Just look at the scam help section. It actually looks presentable without the youtube threads everywhere.
