iTrader mod for MMOwned (link included :))
Well, I think this would be very helpfull on MMOwned in the trade section to make sure you will have more trust in the person you are trading with.

[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

This mod is called iTrader and people submit feedback to you after you have completed a trade just like on eBay.

Description:
iTrader for vB 3.5.x & 3.6.x has evolved from [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] for vB 3.0.x which evolved from [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] for vB 2.x. This is a rating system for when members buy / sell / trade items from each other (presumably on a FS section of your forum). It is somewhat based on the honor system since there is no automatic way to truly tell if they did engage in a transaction. iTrader came about because it was a pain to try and maintain a single thread listing good / bad traders and so far has worked out quite well.

Features:
  • Rate another member: Positive / Negative / Neutral
  • Specify in each transaction: Buyer, Seller, or Trade
  • Leave multiple comments about the deal
  • Dates & IPs are all recorded to prevent abuse
  • Specify a thread URL to the deal
  • Advanced URL checking
  • Display ratings over time
  • Filter based on Buyer/Seller/Trade/or feedback they left for others
  • Users can edit/delete ratings left for others (time based limitation)
  • iTrader Admins can edit/delete anyone's ratings (just incase)
  • PM notification when new rating or comment is left
  • Per-usergroup permissions
  • Lots of admin controllable options

However we do have rep for a reason... and this would also kind of make mmowned tilt a bit too far towards trading... but I guess that is for the better!

But this would make it a lot easier. Some people might have no rep, but might have like 10 positives. This gives the lower ranked people more trust.

Perhaps this could be installed in the trading section. However, I personally like the system that we have set up at the minute.

Believe it or not, we used to have this. Right back when I first joined. We also had a little point shop with special items. They both went. Nobody ever USED iTrader, that's why it went. As such, I'm against this, purely because it didn't work before, and we still have rep.

Back then there weren't that many members around here.

Besides it would be a good thing for people not having much rep since they could be trusted more, which in return is good for contributing members and everybody else.

I don't agree.

Why?

Do we really need this? MMowned isnt focused on trading stuff
The more mods -> The slower MMowned loads.
People will just abuse this to trade with others and get alot of positive.

I agree with this system. I think Igzz has a great idea and I think it should be installed. This will sort the contributing from trust worthy. Go for it imo!
This will work like rep. So abusing it will result in bans/point removal. (If KuRIoS isn't lazy enough, but he is doing a grand job now )

1. We Alrdy have reputation on this site do not need another rep system and if you look at one of matts stickys you see it was alrdy here before and if it was taken down it means and didnt work and was abused

2. Just take up more space on mmowned and the load time is alrdy to long we dont need that

3. To much more room in postbit it will take up where there is alrdy a shit load of stuff in it

4. If you wanna trade/buy/sell stuff for rep go to a different site theres plenty of sites for that like md kh etc wow trade thers a shit load
