Well I always found it strange that there is 270 rep between contributor and elite user... So wouldn't a "Senior contributor" rank be something for around 180 rep ? It would just give a dark blue name or something like that. Nothing els, just to have a visual differences between the 80 rep contributors and 349 ones

I personally think people will faster contribute then. I can understand some of the contributors (including me :P) don't see the elite rank coming very soon. So they would give up faster, but if they would see a closer rank people would faster say
"oh well if I do this and that ... Then I only need 20 rep till senior contributor"
otherwise
"oh well I just forget it, i'll never get another 200 rep"

Its just my view can be rong

Elite = 325rep so the gap is only 245
As long as the gap between Elite and Legendary is larger than Contrib and Elite it's fine with me. No need for more e-peen enlargement to some people imo

well 325 is elite >_>(i think) and the system isn't broken tbh. meh i have mixed views on this

1: it could potentially boost more contributions to reach the mid rank=incentive
2: do nothing at all but cause possibly more things spammed to get that last 15 rep.

You should not contribute to only get something.
You should contribute if you would wanna help the forum and all other WoW/AoC players.

MMOwned is an elitist playground, contrib-elite is quite easy actually. Took me 2 weeks and that was...what, a year ago? Now it's even easier.
It's harder to get contrib than elite me thinks.
