Now this is probably not going to fly, but I didn't have the chance to reply in topic before it was locked and I wanted to clear some things up.

As I had imagined people misinterpreted my post as a QQ about not having access to the private parts of the site. As seen here:

I'm not interested in trying to contribute to the site, nor am I trying to leech. I haven't played WoW in a very long time and have no intention of playing it again. And I'm not saying that you should just be handed everyone's respect at the door, it has to be earned but posting useless crap no one cares about isn't the way to do it.
I have no problem with this, I think it's great you restrict the good stuff to trustable members who've invested their time in the community and not just anyone off the street. That's the way it should be.
I also did not anywhere in my post suggest going by post count, it's a horrible system and only encourages people to spam. People would post and post just to get their post count up, and I did not suggest removing the Rep system. But the current way the Rep system is implemented does close to the same thing post count does. It encourages people to basically make "Spam" topics in hopes of increasing their Rep.
I'm suggesting tightening up on what people can post trying to "contribute" or revise the Rep system.

I would honestly consider those joke topics, and people wouldn't be so inclined to post that kind of thing if they didn't think "Hey I might get rep.. mine as well."
Again, not suggesting post count, not saying you should hand leechers all the goods on a silver platter for simply hitting that little "register" button. I'm saying the site would be a lot cleaner, and a lot more efficient if people didn't post random junk topics that don't contribute in no way to the community.
Not trying to get anyone riled up, just wanted to point out from a observers point of view taking each forum at face value the contributions are a joke. That the was the point of my original post.

Im not agreeing with the poster but...Notice how all the ppl in the first post were contributer or higher... sounds like some1 doesnt want to lose their power...

The reason the first people to respond to this suggestion is not because we want to lose our powers. Its because we most of all have shown that we care about the well being of the site, notice that no lazy leechers posted in here?

Thus Contribute = Respect
Respect Level
1: Leecher = 0 Respect
2: Active Member = 1 Respect
3: 15 Rep Active Member = 2 Respect
4: Donator = 0-3 Respect
5: Contributer = 0-4 Respect
5: Elite = 5 Respect
6: Legendary = 6 Respect
7: Admin = Respect them... or else.
Rofl at people respecting others because of their rep.
There's seriously like, ~8 people on this site i actually respect, and a few probably disappeared. I don't give a crap if you're legendary/elite if i have no idea who the heck you are, or haven't seen anything you contributed.

hey i'm a leecher and i'm posting
The current system is good, it takes alot of dedication to providing quality content to this forum/website database. I have alot of respect for those who have triple digit rep points, not because I want to kiss ass... they have put alot of time and effort into this services and it shows.
I only came here once about 8 months ago, because my friend told me about the AFK AV Bot, which worked wonders. 1.5 weeks earned me full S1 100% epic gear for my farming alt.
this validates why not to flame me: (lol)
Only reason I have been AFK from MMOwned.com is due to alot of RL issues ive had to deal with, but I'm back and trolling to see whats new on the market as well anything I can reply/contribute to.
Only the 5% of the posters here actually care about the site, therefore they have actually EARNED the privilage of have special areas.
I hope this was relatively coherent...
