i think this would be a geat mod for a mmorpg site. here is the info

vBExperience is an advanced level and activity system. It will calculate an activity and experience score for every user based on their activites on the forum. Now your users will see how their level is increasing by participating on your forum.

This mod was developed by me because I was never satisfied with the post count. Communities are not only defined by post count, they need much more parameters: Are the postings the user creates helpful? Are his threads frequently read? Does the user participate on the community by posting pictures, attachments, leaving visitor messages, tagging threads? All this can be answered with this mod

you basically grow levels for being active on the site

i think those are default and can be changed in cpanel

Yes i've been taking a look at those types of addons, however the implementation of those may be a tough thing to do. It's so easy for MMOwned to blow up, as i've learned from experience. That being said, if we could pull it off, i think it is something to really consider.

Aye, I think when they tried to add the mod for the counter that records online time and stuff, it caused all those white pages. But something to kind of show-off activity on the site more than a post count (because that's not much to brag about) would be awesome. And this mod looks pretty cool with the ranks.

i think the plugin doesnt calculate levels from previous usage of the board.
its okay with a small site.. a huge site like mmowned, where we dont even keep the postcount visible could hurt the speed in which a page loads.. and increase the spam on the site. people will immediately think its an rpg and grind away.
