Reputation seems to be hard to get on this forum, don;t get me wrong I think its a brilliant idea to sort out the leechers from the contributors. I've tried to contribute a little around here and have been told a few times " Nice dude + Rep" And never ended up seeing that rep.

So i propose a new idea. For each 100 or so posts that a user makes, they gain one rep, and thus making it semi easier for some people to get out of leecher status.

i'd rather have bad rep than having spam all over this forum.

we get enough reposts as it is. i say keep the system, if you cant get rep, then cry.

Ok, so maybe the post idea wasn't the greatest. Another forum I visit uses this method and it seems to work fine, but I can see what you mean about the spam that may arise. The other method that a forum I visit uses is it gives reputation the longer the user has a member of the forum. Perhaps this could work?

We get more rep power the longer we are on this forum...

A better idea would be: Everytime someone types , The Thread starter gets rep if not already given by the poster within 5minutes, And if the "repgiver" quotes a post and types "+rep" that post will be given rep

its not hard to get rep, took me three weeks to get contributor.

Please don't mistake this thread for me complaining about it being hard to get rep. It's simply and idea I came up with.

tbh we think that the current rep system is working fine. also it is not difficult to get rep, u just need to contribute with sumfin new
