Well alot of people do some amazing threads, if it contains a download it would say like:

Times Downloaded: 3715

Alot of people don't say thanks, thats where this script comes in:

Also:

Option to add to post count when someone clicks 'thanks'.

So when your thanked it wont add post count to the user.
It can also be set to only work in certain sections, seems to make it more fair on people who post great things.

I don't really see how it could be abused, Snailz, could you explain a bit? But I agree as regards rep, we do already have that. I like this idea though.

This is a good idea but i can't decide if i would like it...

I mean i doubt most people will use it, like most of the leechers don't +rep.
But it would get rid of a lot of post boosters like it said.
And some people do +rep saying " Oh thanks for this " and don't post a message in the thread.

I guess it would be nice

would be even more imba if like, you got 5 thanks,
you got 1 rep or something, just to keep the rep
system in place, so someone wont just thanks to
avoid giving rep...

you could make it where you had to thank a thread to view the download links etc but i don't think thats too good idea
