my hunter trap -> staircase still works, so if the dark portal doesn't, i don't know why. but skill to skill model edits like this still work, and imo stationary skills that leave an object are the most problematic, because it allows you to mess with your own z-axis.

Are you sure you can place the trap and everything and it works? It shouldn't, all the traps are in the signature file.

SO how do we MAKE this work for 2.05. Can someone PLEASE give me the website this was found at so I can ask the guy if he is making an updated version which will work with 2.05/Expansion.

In order for the application to work in 2.0.5, the two offsets given in the source need to be changed to CE4D04, and the source needs to be recompiled into a new .exe which can be used for the new patch.

For future reference, the offset is 12 bytes before the string "World of WarCraft (build " in WoW's memory, which is generally between offsets 0x00C00000 and 0x00D00000. Currently, this string is at offset CE4D10.

For anyone without Microsoft Visual Studio, here's a recompiled version of the application for 2.0.5:

no the fact that he stated it works for 2.0.5 means that in fact it will actually NOT work with patch 2.0.5, only patches priior to the current patch 2.0.5
