As for the program, doesn't seem to be a keylogger or virus, but I can't figure out what it actually is. It appeared to be a hex edited version of WoW.exe, but that doesn't quite seem so. When I try to run it, it says missing configuration or something. I really don't feel like working with it right now.

EDIT: I DLed the link on the second page and it seemed to work, I'll test it useing a model edit now

If you actually took a look at the source code.. you can see that it is just a memory patch that applies itself to wow, and then restores the original value of the edit after you press the END key.

heh, I knew thats how model editing would work. oh well, new patch is out and since the dumb**** released the source code, i guarentee this is done for.

It would be done for regardless but there will always be a way around it. Blizzard may not have intentionally nixxed character model editing, and might not care about this patch program.. or if they did intentionally nix it, then they would have of course known that certain model edits (more so the problematic ones, like skill edits) still work .. and would already be taking more advances to stop model editing in the next patch anyway, your reasoning is flawed. either way, things will always be patched and there will always be methods around it that will become publically available.. to become wideley used in world of warcraft society of skeptics that call every file a keylogger, releasing the source is almost necessary. why pout and call names for the reason of inevitability? you should be thanking zmutfx

oh damn you caught me. i DEFINITLY call everything a keylogger. And, Im not sure about where your from but in my country (U.S.A) we can say whatever the hell we want about WHO we want. And i think it was a dumbass move to release the source code on his part because a blizzard employey(sp) just has to DL that and fine out how it works, and its gone. And, how is my reasoning flawed?

i wasn't saying YOU call everything a keylogger, but the general public of WoW is always like "zomg keylogger" to every new face that doesn't have a reputation. and noone with a reputation is going to release it unless they have the source code.

a blizzard programmer is smart enough to know how to backwards engineer a simple piece of c++ code .. w/ c++ itself or a rudimentary language like ASM. i'm just trying to point out to you that it doesn't matter, ONE BIT, whether or not the source code was released.

you don't need to have source code to find out exactly what a program does. your argument/flames have no basis .. i'm not trying to instigate anything or prod you in the wrong way, just trying to educate you.
