First of all: Hello everyone, and happy new 2007.

This is a model/dbc change that turns your Hunter into a shadowranger, with changed class icon, changed name (Ofcourse) changed talent tab names, and changed spells (most, atleast).

Extract, and put patch-3.MPQ in your ...\World of Warcraft\Data folder.
Simple.
Since my only hunter is lvl ~10, I couldn't test most spells, thus, no screenies. It should look awesome, though, (took my favorite spell .m2's

) atleast if you have the same taste as me.
Tell me if there is any spells I've forgotten, or if you have better ideas for talent tree names.

Ok so I got the patch installed but exactly WHAT spells did you change other than volley?

Let's see... Those I can remember are: Serpent sting, aimed shot, arcane shot, frosttrap aura, freezingtrap state, Viper sting, multi shot... Problary some more, but I can't remember atm.
Gonna fix Trueshot Aura asap.

Raneldor: Go download Wacraft Screenshot Manager

Converts your screenies to JPG files and it's really easy to use

1. Press PRINT SCREEN button on your keyboard (located close to the numpad)

2. Open MS PAINT

3. CTRL + V

4. Save the picture at your harddrive as a .JPG

5. Go to [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] then upload the picture there and link it to us =)

There are other ways, but this is the easiest to begin with atleast.

2 things.

1/ Im not sure if its possible to change the text in the class description or not, because that'd be great.

2/ I only did this quickly, but to prove it works heres some screenshots.

I'm sure it is possible, but I couldn't find a way to do that = /

I did some testing my self and noticed that Arcane Shot/Aimed Shot doesn't look that great... I'll do something about it. Also, Raneldor, I dunno trueshot aura's filename, and I haven't got a hunter with trueshot aura yet, so I can't do it = /
Or.... If someone posts a screenshot of trueshot aura being casted, I could give it a shot. Updated version coming soon, btw.

trueshot aura looks like a lil blue ring on the ground... not very impressing
