This changes an entire continent to Emerald Dream/Emerarld Forest, but only shows up on a small section. You must go to the area BEFORE you put in the MPQ. then you exit, put in the file, log back in and you should be there.

Wow this place is awsome, this also leads me to believe that using that Patch-5 mpq could let u access alot of other cool places if used in the same fashon that was used getting into emerald forest.

This MPQ only has emerald dream, but you can make different files for different areas.
from the posts here it sounds as the real ED is in place of the landscape here, and not the one you get when instance switching Scholo/ED which has no doodads or anything.
Surely the .adt files or whatever tell the game which doodads to load?
so my question, how/why is this landscape loaded diff to the instance switch method? and why isn't it possible to get a good version when switching scholo /ED?

I beleive it's the same, exept with this he starts you in an area filled with this stuff...
When I checked the .MPQ file the map files were obviously just the ED files that you normally copy over when doing the Scholo/ED trick. However they are in the azeroth folder instead.
What makes these ones textured where the ED/Scholo ones aren't?
Also how on earth did someone (you?) figure out you needed to be in EPL in order to land in the zone correctly?
Lastly you mention in the first post that you can reach the forest in the Scholo/ED swap too, is it the same as this one? I tried to explore the instance swapped version a bit but it was kinda not worth while as it was just green untextured land as far as I could see.
I'd really like to zone into a version which looks more like the one halfway into this:

Not sure how feasible it is though.
SaintKill's movie is on a private sever, despite what he says.
