This would be the first edit I've actually released and for its current progress, I like its direction.
This set of mods attempts to change any select race into the High Elf race, as I did all the original work on the Night Elves, it's most complete for them.
And yes, this changes both male and female of the respective gender.
Each race change will attempt to include (unless otherwise noted);
- Complete model change.
- Customised skins (blue eyes, blue underwear, blue nail polish), however these skins are not nude and are just infact edited vanilla Blood Elf skins)
- Helm Fix.
- Hoof/feet Fix (for applicable races)
- Sound replacement (to the exact same Blood Elf ones)
This edit also made changes to a linked file, the BloodElfFemaleEyeGlowGreen BLP, I've recoloured it to blend in with both High Elven blue and Bood Elven green eye colours.
The main issue with these files, is the look of your selected races NPCs, this isn't something easily fixable and to successfully do it would require the reskinning of *a lot* of NPCs (~10,000 to be rough)
If you find any other issues with any, don't hestitate to point them out
All of the following race changes will need the respective Model Edit Fix matching your game version.
Race Changes
Night Elf to High Elf - Complete
HighElfNE.mpq - [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
Human to High Elf
Does not contain sound replacements, yet.
HighElfHuman.mpq - [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
Draenei to High Elf
Does not contain sound replacements, yet.
HighElfDr.mpq - [Only registered and activated users can see links. ][/quote]
Blood Elf to High Elf - Complete

As of now, I'm accepting requests on which race to apply the change to next.
All race changes in this post contain the reshaped Blood Elf model done by ScDK, who might I say has done great work.
Other Modders, if you intend to release anything with my content all I ask for is the acknowledgment

Reason: Redid post to fit in more races.
Hey, I for one think this is AWSOME!!!!!!!! I disagree with the comment that hair needs to be blond, that I do not like and it is different, which is good, plus, no sense to make new elf with same hair color right. :P Great Work.
I dont get what the point of making blood elf > high elf, the only significant changes I see are the eyes and you cant even see your character's eyes while playing so ...
Edit: Didn't see that this was night elf > high elf, Nice job.
1. This isn't Blood elf to High elf. This is NIGHT ELF to high elf.
2. The hair colours where not changed and are similar to those of bloodelves.
3. All that is changed is the eye colour.
4. This patch also edits BloodElfMaleEyeGlow.blp (sadly)
5. This patch does not incorporate BakedNPC skins (since there are alot of those.. and it takes years to skim trough all of them) Because of this, NPC's look weird/funny/strange.
6. It is a very good edit, although (as said by the OP) It is not yet finished.
Alas, I don't actually have years to sort out Baked NPC textures, not to mention the naming of said textures are a real pain in the backside.
I actually remember a thread detailing with DBC how to set NPCs as a different race entirely. I might dig around for it or just try figuring it out anyway.
And it was stated in the OP, but this is Night Elf to High Elf.
TBH, I got sick of killing Horde Blood Elves as an Alliance Blood Elf, adding to the fact that the High Elves are still alligned with the Alliance, it kinda made more sense.
AKA - Lorelol.
With the Eyeglow, I'd actually love to make one that enhances both the Green of the Blood Elves and the Blue of the High Elves. Might have to consult the colour wheel >.>
Halo, This will be for both sexes, I just need to do up all the Male textures
And the Hair as of now is the exact same colour selection as Blood Elves.
Noodel, if you want I can assist you with the eye colours
Yet, since you edited the DB files to accept 'bloodelf' and 'highelf' as a root name, it might not fully function. night elves have a Glow file for Male and Female.
Blood elves only have one
Asides all my critical comments, I still like this patch alot, and will try to assist where I can
And then again, if nobody tells you what is wrong, you might never find it eventualy
This is really a + rep, its awesome, way to go.
Oh and leave the current blood elf female model to the horde, the current one looks more "blood elvish" and can make a little difference in their looks.
