Outside of that I couldn't think of anything else that would cause it to crash.

So long as you're using Model Edit Fix 2.3.3 it should run with out any hicups.

If you tell us word for word what you are doing up till it crashes maybe someone on here could figure it out?

did you also enter patch-#.MPQ names into WoWME.cfg ?

remember, you have to rename the patch to 'patch-# whilst making sure it remains an MPQ file, with the same MPQ or mpq (capetilisation) as patch. and common.

accepted letters and numbers are 1 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 a b c d e f g h i j k l m n o p q r s t u v w x y z Also if you have patch.MPQ remember that you should use the letters A B C, and not a b c, It doesn't matter alot, but it assists WoW loading times alot. (As EU clients use MPQ, and US clients use mpq, and there is a differance between how they are handled by WoW.exe)

This is awesome, even the ears look good, unlike with the race changer app.
Ive been trying to make my human male a female and then patch it with ur human to highelf mod but im not successful doing it yet. Got any tips i could use to do this? Highelf dudes look kinda gay but chicks do it dirt.

Hjcuebas, I am getting the idea that you don't quite understand how data changing works. There isn't a way of pre-prossesing, so that if you make the human male, a human female.

The Highelf patch will think; Oh! it's two females, lets make them both High elf females.

Data patching over-rides previous loaded data, and thus gets shown instead of what it usualy was/is.

So to make the human Male a high elf female, you would need to edit this in the Highelf.mpq, and not create a new one.

can someone tell me where to find this model fix? i've been searching for 2 days both on and off this site and can't find it.

EDIT: NVM I found it. Just tried these models out and I would just like to say: OMFG nice!

Just so you know it is against rules to link Edit Fix 2.3.3 (You can only get it on here by donating) on here as the maker wishes.
But as you did, you can still google and find it.

I found the 2.3.3 models, but I can't seem to get the models to appear over my NE/human

Since people keep asking. Here's a little guide to make one of these files work with WoW.

1. Download the appropriate race change file.
2. Place file in the World of Warcraft/Data folder.
3. Make sure you have downloaded a model edit fix for your game version.
4. Follow the installation instructions for the MEFix.
5. Open the WoWME.cfg and add in one line the exact file name of the downloaded race change file - eg. "HighElfNE.mpq" (Without the quotations)
6. Load WoW, press F8, log in.
7. Enjoy.

And again, THESE FILES REQUIRE THE MODEL EDIT FIX
Even the Blood Elf to High Elf one.
