Have tried this and it did work. Thou not with the patch 2.3 since i did use the model edit fix from the last patch. Can't try it this patch since i cant get a hold of the fix. Anyways let's get to point of this thread.

1. Copy your c:\Program files\WoW folder (for safety).
2. Do the changing but don't save it in a extra Mpq just in an existing one, like a patch one or expasion or w/e.
3. Luanch wow with the fix and there you go!
4. If it would go wrong u just overwrite the mpq u changed by copying the mpq from ur safety folder to the alterd one.

This did work....
Would like if some1 could test it with the current patch since i can't get a hold on the fix.

Won't work in 2.3 because of the signature check on the current MPQs.
