Hi guys,

I had read Macroman's post a while ago about his season 2 mage reskin and I saw a lot of requests for the female version. In addition, the skin Macroman made is actually a patch for the male tier4 armor, not the season 2 armor. Anyways, I went ahead and made the female ver. of Macroman's reskin so if you place this mpq file into your data folder, your female season2 mage gear will look different.

MPQ file:
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ] (Filefront has renamed the file to "patch-3_1189893414.MPQ" which you will need to rename "patch-3.MPQ" for it to work)

Male Version:
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ] (Filefront has renamed the file to "patch-4_1190092155.MPQ" which you will need to rename "patch-4.MPQ" for it to work)

MAJOR NOTE: DUE CREDIT AND RECOGNITION TO MACROMAN!!!!! This is all his work. I just went ahead and saved him some time in changing the treepaths to the female season2 armor.

Hey guys,

I just noticed that filefront has freaking renamed the file to:
patch-3_1189893414.MPQ

you will have to rename this to just patch-3.MPQ for it to work.

Sort of big question: First of all, I realize this is the female one, but I am an undead male. The original macroman post(that has the male art in it) isn't changing anything, so hopefully you can help me.
When I dled this into my data folder, everything worked fine except for the chest part, the bottom half of the robes are black, but the top half is still its normal color. For the time being i wear a tabard to cover most of this but I'd really appreciate it if you could help me out. will +rep

Hey Goner,

The only difference in armor models between the male and female season 2 arena gear is the chestpiece. The patch I made specifically only effects the female version of merciless gladiator chestpiece and not the male version. It isn't hard to make a male patch version and I will create it and put it up on this thread in the next couple days.

If you're all wondering why it has the treepath of Tirisfal...

It's because the skin wasn't released yet. Season 2 had not come, I just saw a picture of it and said "there's no way I'm wearing that".

However, here I am in WoW, 4/5 merciless and I love the way it looks. (I guess I grew into the blue look)

I just made the male version of the patch and uploaded it here:

Let me know if it works/if you have any troubles. Also, keep in mind Filefront renamed the file to "patch-4_1190092155.MPQ" and you will need to rename the file to "patch-4.MPQ" after you download it, and then place that into your data folder.
