Greetings Justin,
Thank you for contacting the World of Warcraft Game Master Department.
Petition: I was wondering if i could get banned for editing my ingame models, or if i could get banned for having a speech2.mpq file in my data folder, nothing that edits gameplay, just changes my looks, is this acceptable?
Answer: While this is not a violation of our policies (there are mods that do this, for example), it's something I'd highly recommend against because of the potential to destroy or corrupt needed files.
Should you require further assistance, please submit another help request the next time you are online. We hope you continue to enjoy your experience in World of Warcraft!

Demonkunda double posted!! Lol. There point is they dont want you to do anything such as Dark portal/campfire, instanceswaps, or anything that could give u an advantage. Yes instance swapping will give u an advantage, be cause with propper skills, u can do a lot of stuff. Like i watched a video of sm1 who skipped right to the dragon in naxx, right before kelthuzard
"If I and everyone else could contribute to MMOwned like you do it would be a terrific place." Don't PM me with request, only Questions

Kim
Answer: Yes it is against policies to use these types of programs, it would be considered exploitation. Please refrain from using these types of programs.

well, now that everyone is sending blizz e-mails about model changing, guess what they are gonna start checking for? I wonder...gosh...
and of course if you say that it could be used twords your advantage they are gonna say its against the rules... you shouldnt have said "not so i can get some places i couldn't enter without using some models
such as making a camp fire to a dark portal to get higher?"
Re: Email from blizzard about model editing -

super of course they knew about it, but before you sent the e-mail's, as well as the other people that did, i betcha blizz didnt think it was a verry big deal, but the more e-mails they get about it, i bet the more they look at it...

You also have to remember, there is a difference between model editing for your looks, and model editing in order to get somewhere that you are not suppose to go.
