Yeah I know, this one has been done to death here and there, I'm sure.
But as I've always hated the original, and loved the color schemes of such dragons in WoW lore as Onyxia and images/artwork I've seen of Deathwing...it's time to redo these.

I'll be working from this as reference. and using the associated BLP files, so as not to overwrite any real dragonstalker armor...because just looking at it makes my eyes bleed.

haha, thanks, but honestly no rep needed, that's not my retexture, that's a screenshot using the recolor that blizzard has already used in game....

The retexture Ill be doing is two fold...
It'll will be for yet another private server intended custom set, and will be based of one of the most badd-ass dragons in wow lore...Deathwing.

Also, i'll be doing a reskin of nefarian, to look more like deathwing, for use in custom boss mob private server situations...

but yeah, that pic isn't the reskin hehe. you can take the rep if you feel the need lol

I believe you...they are frightening sometimes. In my apartment complex, they WILL follow you around if they think you have food with you.

You could kill 2 birds with one stone and make that look death knight-ish. But that's up to you, of course.

It would be killing two birds with one stone...if I were still doing the death knight reskin. But The Death Knight project is pretty much done
(the skin MPQ is in the first page of it's thread) There's a couple fixes I would like to attend to, but for now I'll let it just kinda simmer....

This is a completely different path actually, I'm re-texturing Onyxia to be darker, and more foreboding, and Going to work this re-textured dragon stalker into a loot table for a custom mob for a private server database.

So there's really no focus whatsoever on the death knight for this project.
But I do appreciate the suggestion

Minor update, WILL be recoloring dragonstalker's set, not the already recolored misc pieces looted from outland....

because, I dont wanna dig through the goddamned TGA files for the right BLPs and for the life of me I cannot find the right ones for ever the helmet...none ofthe 'dragon' helmets have grey bones, but they should, cause the above armor exists in game....so yeah. recoloring the purple-y gay stuff I suppose.

Did a quick shield re-skin as a small teaser indicating the color scheme I'm going to be rolling with.

Replaceing alot of the color profiles on the armor and possible drops with molten metal, rock, and etc colors....gotta love the 'match color' fucntion in Photoshop.
