Seems like you're having your fun here... I got the Furbolg done now, I'll remake this thread and lay that one up along with the new travelform and other changes soon (and ultimately lock this thread down with a bit of help from the moderators if so). Can't edit my original post anymore.
@LrdZanny: Have you gotten any more progress on the .dbc changes? If you have, I'd like to get a hold of them as soon as possible, I'm gonna recreate the thread and add the Furbolg, Travelform and the other small changes I thought. DBCeditor now crashes my PC when i try to load the creature files, ive deleted it, removed the registry, reinstalled, scanned for viruses, etc, nothing is getting those files to open now. Im angry >.<
i figured i would try to lend a helping hand, in this, but ended up getting hopelessly lost >< i went in and tried to edit CreatureModelData.dbc extracted from the enUS-2 patch file and no matter what i change ANY of the values to for worgen or druidcat nothing changes.... (im using the pack modified for NE's, btw)
is there an actuall creaturemodels.dbc that i just cant find? or what?
Its in the locale-en-us file, i think. You got the right file i think, i dunno why it wont recognize the changes....
do i maybe have to do something special to link the changes to the new cat model? or was changing the druidcat.m2 and having the dbc changes in a seperate pack the right way to go?
(i can see the right values, since i just looked through using your "fun tip" about tauren female models... so i KNOW im telling it to change animation speeds.... but 5 is the same as 1 is the same as .5
EDIT: so after screwing around a bit ive found that there are three slightly different CreatureModelData.dbc files. those found in then enUS-2 patch and the original enUS patch have 24 columns. the one in the locale-eu-us file has 17. when changing the patch versions, nothing happens upon load-in, and when changing the locale version you get a critial error on wow saying that 24 columns were expected, and 17 were found. kinda at a dead end at this point... thought i could help andridge, but it looks like i have a ways to go first

I have been working some on my UI this night (yet another project to fiddle around with) and went off MSN as it's... quite annoying to hear *ba-da-dlong!* when you sit with your keyboard out of reach and drawing tablet instead...

You need the ModelEditFix.exe file, (it's a .exe file you use to start WoW instead, enabling the more advanced modeledits that usually isn't allowed) I haven't provided it as a link in this topic yet, if you want it search for it here on the forums.
