Reputation: 1 | | I'm not too fond of the gigantic ass/thunder thighs on the new bear model and tauren cat's back legs seem a bit wonky in action. I've been using these skins for nearly two years now and it's hard to go back to the default moonkin and tree skins.
Is there by chance a moonkin/tree edit separate from the bear/cat models so I can at least have those awesome skins again? |

Blizz's new models still don't hold a candle to what you created, but I was wondering whether there was any hope of separating out the edits you did for the Moonkin forms (not -> furlbog). The patch still works and shows your model fine, but all the cats and bears I run into are zomg scary. Is there any chance of separating out the working Moonkin models for night elf and tauren into their own patch so us boomers don't have to suffer from old model syndrome?
Either way, thanks for what you've done. Makes playing druids easier to look at.
Thanks! |

Thanks! | I actually did that for my boomkin. I'll try and get a hold of Andrige, and if it's ok with him, I'll upload it for you with a link
Edit: Ok! Andrige said it's fine since he doesn't really work on these anymore, so once I get home from work in about 4 hours I'll upload them to rapidshare for anyone who wants just the Moonkin edits!

i would like to use the old cat and bear forms, but MyWarCraftStudio doesn't work well for me...
Did you use any other programs to edit the Moonkin forms?
And where did you get the path for the models? patch.MPQ? |

Reputation: 19 Level up: 99%, 4 Points needed | | | | I used Warcraft studio to separate them, the editing credit really should go to Andrige. Old Cat Forms
The stuff for legacy Night Elf cat form is:
(Patch.MPQ) Creature\DruidCat\
Everything labeled with 'Legacy' in that directory are the old animation/Models/texture
The stuff for legacy Tauren cat form is:
(Patch.MPQ) Creature\DruidCat\auren
Yes, without the 'T' Same deal as above, everything in that directory labeled with 'Legacy' is the old stuff. For some reason however my studio is giving me extraction errors when I click on it. It's possible my MPQ is corrupted. Bear Forms
The stuff for both legacy Night elf and Tauren Bear forms is:
(Patch.MPQ) Creature\DruidBear
Same deal, everything labeled as 'Legacy' is the old stuff. A note- The textures for the old stuff in this directory are not marked as legacy for some reason. The old ones are in that same directory and named:
DruidTaurenBearSkin.blp (for Tauren) & DruidBearSkin.blp (for Night Elves)
PM me if you need the info on how to get warcraft studio to work.
Good luck! |

We'll see if I try and bother fixing it... |
