Reputation: 1 | | | ive looked everywhere for an answer to this, i cant really see it mentioned either. druid tauren cat form doesnt seem to show anything, infact, when someone goes into cat i can no longer see them, or target them, would this probably be because some part of my video settings are too low or too high? or is it just because of the recent patch.
anyways great work on the pack, everything else looks awesome, and i play my ally druid, after seeing the work u done on tauren cat form i wanted to see me play using it |

| Wonderful work! I love the little anklets on the taur/cat and the facial markings. You're still quite famous on the WoW forums, every thread (about new druid forms) has at least one mention or link of your work 
As for the reason for the quote you ask? Well w/ the new glyph system came one particular glyph that increases swim speed an additional 50% making aqua form much more viable (faster than travel but slower than 60% mount, even faster than that new Northrend aquatic mount!) so maybe it's not as obsolete as once thought. Well I love it a lot more anyway.
Oh yeah and I look forward to that game you've been working on for so long, if your WoW art is any evidence, I'm sure it'll rock.  |

I can explain a bit actually...
Me and another graphics guy who came up with the graphic style, and have drawn tons of 'doodads' and I have been busy doing design work how the levels are done, story and player abilities.
But as with all good thoughts they most of the times fall short somewhere, and this time the programmers I had recruited worked way, way too little. We have something playable, I can start designing levels, we're on the verge of creating enemy AI and polishing animations here and there but the deadline is on the 24:th this month and the 'real' work started when my programmer's had only 3 weeks left.
So no gametesting, PR (the website I registered won't be available until the 28:th or something >_< ), script implementation, dialogue trees and tweaking the unique "Ghostfire" system we wanted to be our kind of unique trait in the game.
So we held it back.
We'll compete in next years SGA but around then, I'm pretty sure it will be available for play on the website or by selected playtesters as a more complete game than what we had originally planned.
And far earlier than that, I will have a teaser and released artwork ^^
The graphic style is pretty nifty, and now with a whole year to work on it further, it will be even better.
Anyway, back on the subject of Aquatic form... we'll see, I might work on it as I probably won't be getting a summerjob this year.
Oh and I'll return back home-home to my parents and dwell in the same attic which I use as my room where I created this whole pack to begin with if that's any indication.

P.S If people could tell me what kind of difficulties they're experiencing with the pack not working, please tell me.
I'm asking you this specifically since on my computer the pack works just fine on all shadow settings. Which is a bit weird. |

Reputation: 1 | | | hey Andrige, ive had 2 problems with the tauren lynx skin... one was similar to the other guy who posted.. cannot see the skin, and i cant move my character ( screen stuck ) and the other which seems to be a known bug, the 2 hander shows on the paw on each attack.. i do check here each day hoping for a quick fix for the tauren lynx skin hehe. i did read that when the tauren lion skin was first made that it had the same problem, well according to flamewalker.. seeing as blizz are doing nothing about our forms, im still in hope for this fix for the tauren lynx.. Anyhow im using the tree of life skin atm and its damn good stuff fella. |

My question is this - is it possible to get a 'reverse' pack? I would love to use the nightelf skins on my tauren druid. The Night elf tree of life form is soooo good. @_@ |

These druid forms are beautiful, although I do miss my purple kitty sometimes (I'm a fan of purple lol). In regards to aquatic form, actually it is not slower than the 60% mount. If you get the glyph that increases your swim speed for that form by +50%, it actually means that your aquatic form is a 150% form of travel. READ: That is the fastest form of travel without your flying mount. There is a mod posted for aquatic form on the forums here that turns it into an orca...looks really promising, I'll try it out and let you know. 
As a side note, I would really, really, really, REALLY love to see this UI working again: http://i231.photobucket.com/albums/e...lfCastingC.jpg Absolutely the most beautiful UI I have ever seen in my life, and it fits with us druids so amazingly well. If I knew how to fix it, I would. <3 Beautiful work, Andrige; you're a master of graphics!

this happened to me too, all the forms worked fine except for cat form. then i noticed i had used a download from the "Previous Versions" section; i went back to the first post and downloaded from the rapidshare link under the donate button (its rather small, the word DOWNLOAD next to it looks like a link which is probably why i missed it). everything works fine for me now, might work for others out there |
