Totally agree.. why would he ever do something that is just changing 1 string in the memory real?... why not just spend much more time going in and edit the mpq file, move the textures and do that for 3 models just to make people belive that he accturally changed the 1 string ingame?

hehe

Btw, seems like he did release it to the developers on the BeHead.de forums. And i wouldnt really wonder if he haven't released it for the GlowingMushroom guys a long time ago.

Lets see how loyal thoes people are to him.
Somehow hope for a leak, and somehow hope for him that they keep it close.

Hi there, just for your information:
YES its 100% live.
YES its 100% client site
YES i have the source for for testing ...
YES malu did a great work

....

its part of the new avocado project started on [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
which will provide a wow api for botting, and changing offsets in the wow memory.
one part will be the bot development 100% passive and therefore not detectable in any way.
the other part is the wmo m2 mod moving and tracking module which allows such things like you have seen in the youtube videos.

if you like to participate in the project and your skills in c#, autoit, packet sniffing and memory reading are realy good feel free to register at [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

Are you serious?

ADT files. Pretty sure that's what's going on. It makes a lot of sense actually, I'm surprised no one has thought of this before.

We already know you can move doodads around easily enough just by changing their locations on the map files. He just generated a way to do it...live.

I wonder how he gets the game to accept the changes while the file is loaded though...

I talk about it with malu05 and he told me that he did not change the files loaded into the memory but the data WOW.exe generates from the files. The same goes for his ingame modelchanger. If he want to edit a model he must reload it somehow. This can be done by altering the grapich settings or simply like he did on the movie dismount and mount again.

The same goes for the ADT files.
You wont be able to edit the adt files ingame and see any changes, since the data have allready been pased on so wow can use it.

He said he uses a program made by Cryect to add the changes of the models into the ADT files, to make the changes permanent, however this should not be a part of his source since its written in C++ and not AutoIT.

So, overall it seems like Malu05 have remade the Nogg-It map editor that did only work for Pre-TBC, but made it ingame.

He also told me that he was able to raise or lower the terrain like in Nogg-It but however due to the limitations of AutoIT made it impossible to make it as fast as Nogg-It so he ended up dropping the idea of ingame terrain modification.

The bad thing is that i asked him about some stuff yesterday, and he told me that he had canseld his suscription for WOW.
Quote:
sry m8, cant help you.. canceled my suscription yesterday and i guess you wont see any updates from me for some time. I will be active at the forums however if you need me..^^
I guess the forums is Behead.de

The fact that this is already your 6th posts is quite convincing of that...

Re: Moving Around Models (INGAME!) - 06-05-2007

I trully hope that this program (if real) does not get out into the public and stays safely within the hands of people who know just what Model Editing is all about .

Because :
Give a noob a hack and that hack will get nerfed faster than you can say "Oh Snap" . But give that hack to a responsible (mature) person and that hack will live forever .

Now i know that this is not a hack but the same theory applies .

I come to MMOwned on weekends (not all weekends).

I believe that was a different tool made by Cryect in C or C++, but it is the same idea.

And Piggy, that was beautiful. You hit the hammer on the head.
