[Warlock in Space]

So I finally decided to try out Environment Changing. I made Elwynn turn into kinda a desert. It didn't work out as well as I'd hoped, there are still some patches of grass that I looked forever to try to change but I never managed to figure it out. As I make more Environment changes I'll probably get it.

For Snake's suggestion I changed those huge Durotar Rocks into smaller rocks that aren't really noticeable. Here are some screens:

It's looking decent, good job so far. Though my suggestions:


You have a lot of durotar rock things there. Too many, in fact. It's highly repetitive and kind of breaks the immersion.

Along the immersion lines, those detail doodads are completely out of place. Abundant grass in a desert? Doesn't work too well. You also have a few very green trees. Remnants form the elwynn, which don't quite fit the desert thing.

But otherwise good work, keep it up.

Well, the durotar rocks thing I could understand changing, but I couldn't find the files for the grass or few green trees. The detail things on the ground were pretty hard to change since there are soooo many in elwynn, next time I'll change a zone that's a little easier. This was really my first environment change though, I'll try to keep in mind not making too many big things next time. I thought those rocks were gonna be smaller when I did the swap

Another sujestion is to change some of hte tree's into a dead tree (The tree that is involed in a horde quest where you summon that red raptor in the barrens)

that looks like some awesome modeling man!..anyhoo i downloaded and when i go onto WoW it loads like 3/4 of the way when i log in then says error and WoW closes HELP!

Try putting ModelChange.exe in the folder first. There's a thread here: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
