So i kinda fixed the shading problem on the swords blade. I got it to look a lot sharper
I also made a smaller version for those that like that better.
The only thing is i don't feel like redoing all my patches (because i am lazy as hell), so here is a patch that contains the m2 and blp files of both the fixed smoothing version together with the smaller shield version. So fix a patch yourself ;D. anyways injoy

I know there are some smoothing mistakes in game (especially when it gets dark), but i haven't found a sound solution for that yet .. ill try to do my next model edit without them but for now this is done

I don't have any shield wearing chars myself so i had no idea what good shields + swords where so i just went by instance ^^.
Patch 1:
Changes Antonidas's Aegis of Rapt Concentration & Blade of Infamy into An'she's Legacy

M2 and Blp patch:
This is patch is for those who want to swap the models for other weapons listed in these patches. I won't be taking requests on Swapping these weapons myself, because the process of replacing skins in game is really easy.

General information:
These custom models are created and designed from start to finnish by yours truely ^^.
Program used for the 3d and UV mapping: Autodesk Maya 8.5 Program used for the texture: Adobe Photoshop 7 Tablet used: Intous 3 A5 wide special edition Time spend: 30-50 hours a model (Total process) Triangle count shield: around 2600 Triangle count sword: around 3000
As for the conversion from 3d to M2 format i suggest you follow this tutorial that i also used the first time: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
Soon ill probably be making a little tutorial about some things in Maya and how to create the glowing textures used on this model .. so look forward to it
i actually just cache edited my sword so it would look like vindcators brand, that way it woudl look like that sword

hmm i see you have the same smoothing problems here and there .. urgh .. i really should find something against that .. :/, because the model in maya and max looks great :/

.. i am working on getting the blade look a more sharp .. because that smoothing problem really makes it look blunt :P ... i almost got it fixed .. urgh not really looking forward to remaking all the patches xD
