Fellow MMOwners, something shocking happened to me today. I was speaking with a GM because after changing the boat wmo into a large building and getting off it in BB I was still considered on the boat (I was sliding with the boat from 10miles away) After going off the map I disconnected and could not log in. I contacted a GM and she tele'd my char and then said - I have already lost one account and this STRONGLY inclines me to finish model editing\hacking. I am sorry to the VERY FEW people who admired me, but I am leaving.

Tell me your name on WoW is "Kblaster" ? If not, then I'm worried. I just recently did a swap on my main account for the first time and if they see "Idusy did a swap!", and with the recent ingame whispers (Yes, my name is Idusy ingame...) lately saying "OmG yuR idUsy form mmownt" it might not turn out good in the end :\

Interesting. Looks like they're adamant about stopping Model Changing. Maybe though, you tipped them off. Considering that you told someone, they read your chat log, by chance. I don't know, it all seems so unlikely.

u do know GM's can check your folders and all conversations u make. so if you get bugged somewhere where you should be they could run a check when u last said something like "Moddle Editiing" Bootybay and stuff like that.

a gm who quit opened a forum and said that there is a way to talk to someone on wow without them being able to look it up and the only way i can imagine is making a channel

He means that GMs have a chat client in which they cannot be /who'd and whatnot. They're not really in game, and by the same client, they're technically on every server at once.

True Snake Though GM's are allowed to have chars though they don't have time to play with them at all when they're at their 8 hour shift

Though, i still play around on trials, and of course i know GM's can read chatlogs and so on, but i can't resists saying stuff like zomg haxxor! report meh! xD And my charnames is allways something that could get me banned as well if they know what i make :P

that sucks man. BTW thats why i run minimal or no model edits when i need to talk to a gm, apart from maybe an armor edit, when im just reporting the latest wow gold spamer

Lol =p... I might stick around on the forums I guesse to see what's new. And like I said, I only said it to ONE person in a whisper, + I have a "script" process I always run that refreshes my caches and everything for wow when I start it, does the same for firefox (google ftw). But I didn't get banned and that GM told me I wasn't about to be.. if I "stopped", and I don't want to lose another account. And also, when I was talking to my friend... the most suspicious word I used was probably change.. lol. I'm surprised she didnt ban me.. she even knew I had been MCing on a trial earlier...

Oh now I see what you meant, I thought you were worried that I stole someone's name here.... You meant like I might've gotten banned bcuz they saw me as a uz0r here... Well I will tell you that the GM mentioned something about MMOwned in the middle of the process, I don't think she knew I was kBlaster0r. Dat is a warning tho, you guys might not want to use your mmownt names ingame cuzza the GMs appear to know...

You can get reported and banned (PERMA) for having "SPECIAL" letters in ur name, like my old name was Rëbörn...and I had a FREE name change to Navari. You can get this free change by submitting a query in the "Character" support section about reporting yourself to get a name change.
