Hey all, I'm not sure if someone's already done this (I couldn't see a thread) but:

After tinkering around with the WotLK alpha client, I managed to find the Frostmourne model and texture and switched it with the Corrupted Ashbringer.

you missed some of the glow textures. I added then all in this patch for you. I changed the model to the pvp alliance 2h sword, it seems to work best.

I feel sorry for people without this client, haha. really killer stuff.

That was the intended idea, nobody wants to see 1000 Frostmourne's.

Just get this patch, then use Glitchy's MES to itemcache change your weapon to a Corrupted Ashbringer then job done. sure a few people will have it, but not as many

I puted the fil to my data folder and nothing...

Nevermind my first post. You need to rename the frostmourne.mpq to patch-f.mpq or any other symbol from 1-9 and a-z

I renamed it to patch-f.mpq and when I go in game to look at it theres nothing.. But if I go into WoWModelViewer it looks just fine. Any help?
